May 1 through June 30, 10 percent of purchases from the Lamps Plus Color Plus custom lighting collection will benefit kids with cancer, other life-threatening diseases.
LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#mylampsplus–The perfect lamp or lighting fixture can elevate any room, bringing joy and comfort into a home. Now through June 30, the Lamps Plus Color Plus lighting collection will also benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® whose lifesaving mission is: Finding cures. Saving children.®
Lamps Plus today announced its support and participation in the My St. Jude Family campaign, joining other brands to honor families and moments of togetherness around Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. The My St. Jude Family campaign is an opportunity to support St. Jude patients and their families, while celebrating the dedication of the larger “St. Jude family,” made up of the many caring doctors, staff, fundraisers, donors and researchers.
Ten percent of all sales within the Color Plus category from LampsPlus.com and Lamps Plus stores will be donated to St. Jude, now through June 30. Because the majority of St. Jude funding comes from generous donors, like Lamps Plus customers, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most – saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
Support from campaigns such as My St. Jude Family is the reason St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
“We are proud to once again help support the families of St. Jude,” said Dennis Swanson, founder and CEO of Lamps Plus. “Family is paramount to our customers and our business. The Lamp Plus community extends our whole-hearted support to their work fighting childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.”
Color Plus is a best-selling brand of lighting exclusive to Lamps Plus. Customers can choose from over 100 designer colors, dozens of lamp bases, and hundreds of shades with exclusive patterns. The lamps and shades are made-to-order and assembled in-house by skilled artisans at Lamps Plus’ Los Angeles headquarters workshop. Color Plus candle holder sets are also available.
