Media Advisory: Home Bank and FHLB Dallas to Award $5K to Slidell Affordable Housing Nonprofit

MANDEVILLE, La.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Home Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award a $5,000 Partnership Grant Program (PGP) grant to Northshore Housing Initiative (NHI), a Community Land Trust that supports affordable housing initiatives in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.

The funds will be awarded at a ceremonial check presentation on Friday, October 7. Media is encouraged to attend. NHI plans to use the grant proceeds to assist with operating and administration expenses for the Community Land Trust program.

FHLB Dallas matches financial member contributions to nonprofits at a 3:1 ratio, up to a $12,000 match. PGP grants, awarded annually, help qualified nonprofit organizations fund a variety of operational and administrative activities that are critical to serving their communities.
