South Florida Nurses, Doctors and Hospital Staff to Attend as Guests of the 20th Annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival Presented by Capital One

-The Festival Returns May 20-23, 2021-

MIAMI BEACH, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#SOBEWFF–The Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®) has invited nurses, doctors and healthcare workers from five South Florida hospital systems to attend as guests of the Festival taking place May 20-23, 2021.

SOBEWFF® will be donating over 2,500 tickets across several events to healthcare workers in support of their service during National Hospital Week taking place May 9-15, 2021. Confirmed hospital systems include Baptist Health South Florida, the exclusive health provider of SOBEWFF®, Jackson Health System, Memorial Healthcare System, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Nicklaus Children’s Health System.

“These nurses, doctors and healthcare workers have put their own lives at risk to serve our community,” said Lee Brian Schrager, Festival Founder & Director. “We know that without their hard work, this Festival would not be taking place and it is my hope that in a small way, this initiative will show them how grateful we are for their efforts and dedication to helping our community get through this pandemic.”

All proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who also assist Festival organizers with sponsorship fulfillment, restaurant and exhibitor recruitment, logistics, and inventory as well as working alongside some of the world’s greatest celebrity chefs and winemakers.
